On Friday night I was fortunate enough to attend the press night of Emerald Storm at the Emerald Theatre. This show truly had the most amazing atmosphere!

Firstly, there is a pre-show performance in which you can sing along to some classic tunes such as “Take me home, Country Roads” which the entire audience had a blast singing!
The show itself was truly sensational. It has such an immersive atmosphere, from the cast members walking down aisles through the audience, to the singers appearing in the dress circle.
The set and stage was so beautiful. I loved the cabaret style seating with the tables in the audience. The entire performance was just mesmerising to watch. There was so much going on on stage and there was always something to watch and be engaged with!!

This show was a beautiful variety of tap, irish dance and singing. This brought a truly joyous, upbeat and electric atmosphere to the whole theatre!
Tom Ball played The Boss and absolutely captivated the entire audience with his astonishing vocals. He sang a beautiful mix of modern pop songs as well as irish classics. This is truly a show for EVERYONE.

Despite me not particularly having an interest in tap nor irish dance, the show was so spectacular that I am now definitely going to expand my efforts to watch more of this style as I loved it from start to finish! There was so much talent on that stage.
The performance ended with an invitation onto stage to show off some dancing, and the supportive and enthusiastic atmosphere was so lovely! The entire night was so special and truly felt like an experience, rather than just a performance.
This show closes on the 14th of December, definitely try and catch it if you can!! You will have the best night ever!!
